Boomtown Fair organisers have revealed two more artists from the line-up for Chapter 12 of the festival next August – Flogging Molly and Noisia, with the latter lined-up to play the RELIC stage as part of the Sunday night closing ceremony.
Noisia previously appeared at Boomtown in 2015 when the trio were the first artist revealed for the then-new Palace stage. Flogging Molly were also on the Fair’s line-up in the same year.
Artists will be confirmed every day this week, ahead of the major headliners being revealed in February. Caravan Palace became the first band officially confirmed for Chapter 12 when they were announced on Monday.
Flogging Molly were then announced on Monday evening before Noisia were unveiled on Tuesday lunchtime. Boomtown Source reported Noisia were rumoured to feature on the line-up before the official confirmation was made.
In an email newsletter sent out last month, organisers said: “We have 8 main music programmers in the team, all who specialise in different styles. Every year they have an increasingly difficult job to programme for Boomtown, due to many artist fees going through the roof and issues like Brexit screwing the system.
“However, the planned line-up is looking absolutely ridiculous, across all stages and districts. It’s Boomtown through and through and we’re certain every single one of you will love it.”
Boomtown Fair Chapter 12: New Beginnings will take place from Wednesday 12th to Sunday 16th August 2020 at the Matterley Estate near Winchester.
