Parklife have confirmed that Mark Ronson will headline the Parklife Stage tonight after Cardi B dropped out earlier this week.
Mark Ronson will now perform an hour-long set at 9:55pm Saturday on the festival’s main stage. He was originally set to appear on The Valley stage, but his move to replace Cardi B was confirmed when Parklife’s set times were released last night.
According to the schedule, no artists have been added to The Valley’s Saturday line-up to replace Mark Ronson. Set times have been planned to avoid a large gap in place of Mark’s set.
The Tab reported Cardi B pulled out of the festival to recover from breast enlargement and liposuction surgery, having previously cancelled performances last month.
Parklife organisers apologised for the late notice in a statement and said they “have only just had confirmation from Cardi’s team that she will not be able to perform.”
Cardi B previously said in an Instagram Live broadcast: “The thing is I can not take no planes. So I’m gonna do Summer Jam and after that, that’s it.
“My doctor was like, Yo, you cannot be doing all these shows because you’re not fully healed and I keep telling you this and then if something happens to you, you gonna to try to blame me.”
Ricardo Villalobos has also dropped out this morning due to illness, but organisers said Midland will be flying in last minute to fill the slot.
